-- Pallekele – Pallekele is a bit of a mystery venue for all considering its uneven balance pitches, overall pallekele supports chase but runs on the board still matters in these Lankan pitches. Avg Par score at this ground is 170-75.
-- Colombo – Colombo is considered as one of the big grounds (in terms of boundary sizes) and traditionally bat first prefers ground. Chasing high scores on this ground is not as easy against a good quality bowling attack. Avg Par score at this ground is 155-65.
3) Weather Impact – It’s always a wise call to have a weather check on a daily basis before a match starts in Sri Lanka. As per unofficial stats, Sri Lanka has the most number of matches interrupted/shortened after the UK. 5) Team Colombo – Colombo looks more settled side among the all 5 despites big international missing from the squad. Personally backing Colombo this year and expecting to do well and went all the way to beyond playoffs.
6) Team Dambulla – Third year and third time franchisee has a new owner and name. This franchise has its nature of unpredictability very high, as per stats punters do a lot of loss in Dambullas matches, so be careful while playing in dambulla matches.
7) Team Galle – Two time runners ups of the league but this year we are not expecting anything special from team Galle. As per our analysis Galle will fail to qualify for playoffs but this team could earn a couple of good matches, other than this, we are not expecting anything exciting from Galle this year.
8) Team Jaffna – Team of the tournament and we are expecting to do well this year as well. Jaffna will chase well but could be found in short while defending a total.
9) Team Kandy – Watch-out for Kandy this year; Kandy was finishing bottom of the table for the past 2 seasons but this year they will move a giant step further and book their spot in playoffs. Kandy is a well-balanced side in terms of batting and bowling; specially bowling is very good and could be effectively a good defending side of the year.

10) First Bat v Second Bat – Traditionally, Sri Lanka as a venue has supported the first bat historically. Spin bowling attack is a big factor in Sri Lanka that makes a big difference in first bat v second bat scenarios. As per stats, it is 60-40 stats on Defend V Chase but again it depends on bowling attack. Back team has a good bowling attack; 9/10 you will get a good enough profit from the match.
