Abhishek Sharma 135 Runs for Team India in T20I Match against England

In a stunning display of batting, Abhishek Sharma scored a record-breaking 135 runs off just 54 balls, leading India to a commanding 150-run victory over England in the fifth T20I at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. This win secured India a 4-1 series triumph against the visitors.

After being asked to bat first, India posted an impressive total of 247 for nine, with Sharma’s explosive innings featuring 13 sixes and seven fours. His century came off just 37 balls, marking it as the second-fastest for India in T20Is. Sharma’s remarkable performance surpassed Shubman Gill’s previous record of 126 not out, making it the highest score by an Indian in T20 internationals.

England struggled in their chase, collapsing from a promising start to be bowled out for just 97 runs in 10.3 overs. Despite Phil Salt’s quick-fire 55, the team faltered against India’s bowlers, with Mohammed Shami taking three wickets and HarshitRana claiming three as well. This victory not only highlighted India’s dominance in the series but also showcased Sharma’s potential as a rising star in international cricket.
