After ODI World Cup 2023 heartbreak, Yuzvendra Chahal eyes 'Test Cricket
The star spinner of the Indian cricket team, Yuzvendra Chahal, wants to represent Team India in test cricket despite being excluded from the ODI World Cup 2023 squad. He is quite determined and continues to hold on to his history of earning a test cap as he is yet to make his test debut for India. In one of his recent interviews, he said that he wants to excel in the upcoming domestic season.
Yuzi said, "Every cricketer has a dream of representing his or her team on the international platform and reaching the pinnacle when they wear whites and play red-ball cricket. I have a similar dream too. I have achieved a lot in white ball cricket, but red ball is still on my check list."
He further said that "I still have the dream of getting the tag of a Test cricketer next to my name. I try to give my best in domestic and Ranji games so as to fulfill this dream of mine, and I hope to get the opportunity to represent the Indian test team soon."
