After Team India's Snub of Prithvi Shaw, he takes a Cheeky dig at the team selectors

Indian Opener Prithvi Shaw has experienced a decline in his cricket career, and his exclusion from the Asian Games highlights his diminished status. After his absence from the Indian team since the Sri Lanka tour in 2021, Shaw returned to the T20I side for the series against New Zealand at home last year. Despite his inclusion, he did not get an opportunity to play and was subsequently overlooked for both the West Indies series and the Asian Games.
Shaw expressed his confusion over the reason behind his exclusion from the T20I team without even getting a chance to showcase his skills and said in an interview, When I was dropped from the Indian team, I didn't get to know the reason."
He further expressed his disappointment at not being selected for the West Indies T20Is and emphasised that his fitness is not a concern, saying that "Someone was saying it could be fitness. But of course, I came here [to Bengaluru] and cleared all the tests at the NCA, again scored runs, and again came back to the T20 team. But again, he didn't get a chance in the West Indies. I'm disappointed, but you just have to move forward. I can't do anything; I can't fight with anyone."
Continuing his statement, he said that, "As a person, I just like to be in my own zone. People say a lot of things about me. But those who know me know how I am. I don't have friends, and I don't like to make friends. This is what's happening with this generation. You can't share your thoughts with anyone else. If you ask me personally, it's very scary. Darr lagta hai aajkal to share my thoughts. Agle din social media mein aa jaata hai. I've got very few friends, only a couple of friends, and even with them, I don't share everything; only a few things."
