All-rounder Mitch Marsh was seen strolling with his wife Greta and their newborn daughter, Olive. Fellow teammates, including MarnusLabuschagne, Usman Khawaja, Nathan Lyon, and Alex Carey, played with their children on the field. Josh Inglis, sidelined due to Travis Head’s return, spent time with his partner and son.
Steve Smith shared a special moment inspecting the MCG wicket with his father, while 19-year-old Sam Konstas prepared for his debut as the fourth-youngest Australian to play Test cricket. Assistant coach Andrew McDonald’s son participated in the festivities by facing throwdowns alongside Head, who successfully passed a fitness test after recovering from a quad injury.
