Ahead of IND vs. SL ODIs, Rohit Sharma spills beans on the KL Rahul-Rishabh Pant keeper conundrum
The ODI captain of India cricket team Rohit Sharma admitted that it will be a hard choice to select which one of KL Rahul or Rishabh Pant will feature in the playing XI for the series against Sri Lanka. While Pant makes his ODI return after over a year, KL Rahul has also been named as a part of the side after sitting out of the T20 World Cup. The three-match series is scheduled to get started on August 2.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference on Thursday, Sharma said that he was unsure of who would make it to the playing XI as the keeper in between KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant.
Rohit Sharma said in the pre-match press conference, “It is a tough call to choose between Rishabh and KL. They both are match-winners. But it’s always nice to have multiple quality options to pick from the squad.”
