The pacer of the Indian cricket team, Jasprit Bumrah, reached Rajkot ahead of the IND vs. ENG 3rd Test. The premium pacer, however, did not take part in the training session at the nets. The third test is all set to commence on February 15, with the series currently drawn 1-1.
As per the report from the news agency, Bumrah reached Rajkot on Wednesday but skipped the training session. The pacer’s actions come amid the chatter over his workload management. It remains to be seen if the pacer will take part in the Rajkot Test, although reports suggest that he will be rested for the fourth game in Ranchi.
With 15 wickets in just two matches, Bumrah has proved to be the difference so far. With the Rajkot pitch being a good batting surface and seemingly favouring pacers, it would be wise for India to play the pacer.
