As India touches down in Kolkata for the South Africa clash, homecoming for Mohammed Shami

On November 3, the Indian cricket team landed in Kolkata ahead of their match against South Africa on Sunday. India is ready to play their 8th World Cup group stage match in Kolkata, which will take place on Sunday, November 5. The Indian team will also be celebrating Virat Kohli's 35th birthday on Sunday.
A video was posted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India of the Indian team arriving in Kolkata. Mohammed Shami, who plays for Bengal in the domestic circuit, will be eagerly waiting to play at the Eden Gardens after what has been a stunning three matches at the World Cup for him. Shami has picked up 14 wickets already in the campaign and has looked like his most lethal self in the 2023 World Cup.
The team, led by Captain Rohit Sharma, has remained undefeated throughout the tournament, registering dominant victories in all seven matches played so far. This impressive streak has made India the first team to qualify for the semi-finals of the World Cup.
