Asian Games: Women's freestyle relay team and Srihari Nataraj reach the finals

At the Asian Games in Hangzhou on Sunday, star swimmer Srihari Nataraj and the Indian women's squad qualified for the men's 100-meter backstroke and 4x100-meter freestyle relay finals. In the 10-team competition, the team of Olympian Maana Patel, Dhinidhi Desinghu, Janvi Choudhary, and Shivangi Sarma finished sixth and advanced to the final with a time of 3:53.80. Sirhari, on the other hand, finished second in his heat and sixth overall to advance to the final. He hit the pad in 54.71 seconds.Utakarsh Santosh Patil, the other competing Indian swimmer, finished with a time of 59.42 seconds to take 20th place in the men's 100m backstroke competition.Later on in the day, both finals will take place.Anil Kumar Shylaja and Tanish George Matthew, who placed 12th and 17th in the men's 100m freestyle final, respectively, were unable to advance.
