At Rashtrapati Bhavan Sachin Tendulkar, family meet President Droupadi Murmu

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, accompanied by his wife Anjali and daughter Sara, met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday. The family's visit was captured in a video showing them walking through the gardens. During the visit, Tendulkar presented President Murmu with a signed Indian Test jersey.

This visit was different from previous ones where Tendulkar received awards; this time, he was a personal guest of the President. Tendulkar also attended the Vimarsh Shrinkhala event, emphasizing the unifying power of sports. He shared anecdotes about his playing days, including how he motivated teammates like Virender Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh.

Tendulkar explained how he would encourage Sehwag to attack by telling him to defend, knowing Sehwag would do the opposite. He also recalled advising a low-on-confidence Yuvraj Singh to focus on fielding before the 2011 World Cup.

Recently, Tendulkar received the Col. CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award at the BCCI Awards. Known as the 'God of Cricket,' he holds records for the most runs in Test and ODI cricket and 100 international centuries. Tendulkar was also part of India's 2011 Cricket World Cup-winning team.
