Atul Wassan, who is a former cricketer, feels that the experience of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli could act as an X factor for the Indian cricket team in the 2023 World Cup. Both Kohli and Rohit Sharma are the most experienced players and are in the best of their forms, as they have performed very well in the recently concluded series.
Atul talked about the iconic duo who could be the trump card for India in the mega event. He also named Chinaman Kuldeep Yadav, who could also play an important role in the 2023 World Cup.
While speaking, Atul said, “It is not like we played in Sri Lanka and we became hot favorites. Anything can happen at any time. By default, Ashwin has entered the squad, and the team is looking more balanced. The experience of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma is our X factor because, in long games, we need one player who can soak up the pressure. We also have Kuldeep, so I think these two players can become our trump cards and help us become favorites. India will definitely be in the top 4, along with England and Australia.
