After losing the second ODI match against India by 99 runs, the captain of the Australian cricket team, States, has lost five matches in a row before the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. His team needs to work on a few things. The Indian cricket team played well with both bat and ball and clinched the three-match series with a lead of 2-0 as they won the second match by the DLS method at the Holkar Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
In a post-match presentation, Smith said, “When we came here, it looked like a good wicket changed a little bit. Credit goes to Team India; they batted beautifully; 400 was always a big challenge on that. I have seen games here before, and they look good for chasing. We were a fair way off. We have lost quite a few in a row now. The World Cup is about peaking at the right time. We certainly have not done that at this stage. There are a few things to sort out. We know we are a good side; both teams are working toward the World Cup but still want to win games.”
