Bangladesh cricket team created history by defeating Pakistan in the two match test series. In the second match played in Rawalpindi host Pakistan had it target of 185 runs. Bangladesh cricket team achieved this target by losing only four wickets on the last day of the match. Therefore the team won the first test match by 10 wickets. They note only defeated Pakistan in a test match for the first time but also achieved a clean sweep by winning the second match.
Bangladesh needed 143 runs on the last day of the Rawalpindi test match against Pakistan. On the 4th day the game was halted as the visiting team had scored only 42 runs without losing a wicket. The second innings of Pakistan was reduced to only 172 runs in front of Bangladesh Hassan Mahmud five wickets.
Hence Bangladesh cricket team created history by registration with three in the two test matches against Pakistan.
