The players made an early morning visit to the temple, where they were escorted by security personnel, ensuring a smooth darshan of Lord Jagannath, Devi Subhadra, and Lord Balabhadra. Washington Sundar commented that "the darshan was very good".
Following their temple visit, the Indian team was scheduled to hold a net practice session at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. Authorities implemented extensive security measures for the players' movement between Bhubaneswar andCuttack. Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Police Commissioner S. Dev Datta Singh confirmed the deployment of 50 platoons of forces and issued a traffic advisory to facilitate smooth movement for both the players and the general public
