Former batsman of Indian Cricket Team Robin Uthappa believes that Pakistan cricket team is going to suffer from a shocking defeat against Ireland in the group stage of T20 World Cup 2024. Pakistan is placed in Group A of the tournament, along with India. In a conversation with Ravichandran Ashwin before the mega tournament, Uthappa was asked whether he believes Ireland can cause an upset in Group A, and he quickly responded that he believes that they can and will end up defeating Pakistan.
Ashwin asked, “Ireland can potentially cause upset. Ireland is in the same group as India, Pakistan, Canada, and the USA so where is the upset coming from?.”
