Former cricketer of team India, Virender Sehwag, took a brutal dig at the England team, who are reportedly bringing their own chef for the IND vs. ENG Test series, starting on January 25.
On Friday, according to the report in the Telegraph, the England Test team will take their own chef for the India tour to “try and avoid players falling ill” during the seven-week trip.
Meanwhile, Sehwag took a sly dig at the England team and said that the need for a chef only took place after Cook’s departure, referring to former England skipper Alastair Cook, who was the last England skipper to lead the side to a Test series win in India.
Sehwag wrote on X, “Yehzaroorat Cook kejaanekebaadpadhi. IPL meinnahipadegi.”
The 5-match Test series between India and England will begin on January 25 in Hyderabad. The next four Test matches will be played in Vishakhapatnam, Rajkot, Ranchi, and Dharamsala, respectively.
