Before the match between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, spinner Yuzvendra Chahal reminisced on his return to the stadium where he played for Royal Challengers Bangalore for around 8 years. He also gave advice to bowlers on how to approach their bowling on a ground that is really small and leads to high-scoring matches.
Chahal said in a video posted by the Rajasthan royals that "playing at Chinnaswamy is a different feeling." I have played here for 8 years. I feel at home and enjoy playing here. I went inside and told Harshal Patel that it was my place. I have sat here for 8 years. "It is good to see your old mates."

While giving advice to the bowlers, Chahal said that you should bowl with a free mind here and give your best. It is not hard for bowlers here. It is about enjoying Self-belief is the key. You should not worry about the ground being small. It is easy to score here. The ball travels high, but you should enjoy the challenge. I am excited. Whatever the result, maybe I will give my best.
Chahal had played for RCB from 2014 until 2021 and took around 1:39 wickets in 112 matches at an average of 22.00 and an economy rate of 7.57. In the mega auction of the IPL 2022, he was bought by the Rajasthan Royals.
