Despite losing the first T20I match against Zimbabwe, the star wants the team to stick to an attacking batting approach.

Despite facing a defeat of 13 runs against Zimbabwe in the first T20 international match, out of favor batsman of team India Abhinav Mukund has backed the approach of the visitors. An enthusiastic bowling effort from team Zimbabwe on Saturday helped them beat team India. India seemed right in control of the game after restricting their opponents to 150 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs, but Zimbabwe made a remarkable comeback.

With a score of 31 in 29 balls, Gill was the top run scorer for team India, as they were bundles of doubt in the chase of a paltry total. Washington Sundar pouts but fails to take India home, causing the final wicket to fall.

While the majority of the batsmen of team India lost their wicked while trying to go for big shots, Mukund said that they should stick to the template but also keep the playing conditions in mind. Mukund said, “I don’t think they should change their approach; maybe they should respect the conditions more.”
