Ex Cricketer of Team India Mega "No Cricket In Pakistan" Message

Former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has voiced his support for India's decision to not play cricket in Pakistan, emphasizing that national security is more important. He stated firmly, "Until terrorism ends, there should be no cricket in Pakistan". Dhawan acknowledged that the decision rests with governments and cricket boards, not players.

Dhawan dismissed concerns about the BCCI's influence in international cricket. India will play their Champions Trophy matches at a neutral venue in the UAE, aligning with their policy of not playing bilateral cricket with Pakistan outside of ICC events.

Dhawan had a successful career representing India in all formats. In ODIs, he scored 6,793 runs in 167 matches. He also scored 2,315 runs in 34 Test matches and 1,759 runs in 68 T20Is. In domestic cricket, Dhawan has impressive statistics with 8,499 runs in First-Class matches and 12,074 runs in List A games
