In the 4th Test match between IND and ENG, India needed only 73 runs to win with 7 wickets in hand. The team was off to a poor start. Out of all, it was senior pro Ravindra Jadeja who gifted his wicket to Shoaib Bashir. And former head coach of Indian cricket team Ravi Shastri wasn’t a happy man. He called it “desert after lunch” for England, as Jadeja gave away his wicket on a full-toss delivery. And in the next delivery, Sarfaraz Khan too was dismissed, putting India on the back foot.
“This is dessert after lunch, served on the platter for England,” Ravi Shastri commented after Ravindra Jadeja fell to Shoaib Bashir.
After 12 in the first inning, Ravindra Jadeja could only score 4 runs off 33 balls. He was promoted to No. 5 in place of Sarfaraz Kan.
