Star batsman of Indian Cricket Team Surya Kumar Yadav brilliance in the shortest format of cricket shone through as he clinched a record 4th century during the third T20 match against South Africa on December 14. While leading the Indian cricket team as captain, he delivered a spectacular innings where he was code under runs in 56 balls and helped his team post a target of 27 runs at a loss of 7 wickets in Johannesburg.
Former fast bowler of Indian cricket team Zaheer Khan commended Surya Kumar Yadav while throwing light on the formidable challenges bowlers faced against him. Zaheer said, "He is building a reputation for himself, and there is no doubt about that. He has got short-making ability all across the ground, and that makes it very difficult for bowlers. When you are able to hit one side of the pitch, then as a bowler, you always have a chance in this format with the field restrictions."
Zaheer further added, "but when you have a batsman like Surya who can hit the ball to long on, mid wicket, hit sixes over covers and uses the face by opening the face of the bat nicely it's tough for bowlers he picks his fielders picks his spots and once he is on song and that kind of his zone it's never going to be easy for bowlers to execute their plans."
