Zaheer Khan, speaking on Cricbuzz, emphasized the need for clear guidelines and communication to prevent instability within the team. He warned that excessive flexibility without proper protocols could create insecurity, ultimately harming the team.
Kris Srikkanth has also criticized Gambhir, specifically regarding the management of KL Rahul’s batting position.Srikkanth believes Rahul is being underutilized by batting lower in the order.Dodda Ganesh has also questioned Gambhir’s decision to send Axar Patel ahead of Rahul in the batting order.
The lack of a dedicated batting coach has also been noted, with concerns that the current support staff is not adequately addressing technical flaws in the batting lineup.
