Final decision is expected within the next 48 hours
The BCCI's Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) conducted an interview with former India opener Gautam Gambhir on Tuesday in order to fill the post of head coach for the national team. Using a Zoom call, Gambhir and Malhotra participated virtually in the interview. "Yes, Gambhir showed up for the CAC interview. Today was the first discussion round. Another round is anticipated tomorrow, a BCCI source informed PTI. It is thought that Gambhir is the lone contender, and the revelation of his name is just a formality that may take place within the next 48 hours.
