For breaching the IPL code of conduct during a victory against the Gujarat Titans, the star player of the Delhi Capitals was slapped with a fine

The first bowler of Delhi capital Rasikh Salam Dar was punished for breaching the IPL code of conduct after his aggressive celebration after he took the wicket of our sign Kishore during the match against the Gujarat Titans on Wednesday. The Capitals won the match by a narrow margin of four runs against Gujarat in their IPL 20-24 encounter at the ArunJaitley Stadium in Delhi. 

Dar gave an impressive bowling performance where he gave 44 runs and took 3 wickets in his four overs, including the important wickets of Sai Sudarshan, Shahrukh Khan and Sai Kishore.

The statement by the IPL read that Dar committed level 1 offences under Article 2.5 of the IPL code of conduct. He has already admitted to the offence and accepted the sanction of the match referee for the breaches of level 1 of the code of conduct. The decision of the match referee is final and binding.

The right-arm fast bowler did give up 18 runs but ended up picking up the important wicket of Sai Kishore with his final delivery of the over.
