For India tour Bangladesh announced their Test squad
The fast bowler of Bangladesh Shoriful Islam is going to miss the two match test series in India due to a groin injury sustained in Pakistan as the nation’s cricket board announced on Thursday.
After defeating their Asian rivals in a Test series for the first time and winning both of the Tests in Pakistan, Bangladesh is riding high.
The 23-year-old Shoriful, who took three wickets in the first Test in Rawalpindi, was injured and was unable to play in the second match.
After naming a 16-member squad for the India tour the Bangladesh Cricket Board said, “Left-arm pacemanShoriful Islam is still recovering from a groin injury and was unavailable for the series.”
In the official Test rankings published by the ICC Team India is seven places ahead of Bangladesh and leads the World Test Championship standings.
