For the India vs Zimbabwe series, Captain Shubman Gill is getting ready

The talented opener of Indian cricket team Shubman Gill might not be in the main squad or reserves for the ongoing ICT T20 World Cup 2024, but that does not stop him from getting ready for a different challenge. The stunning batsman is making himself ready for the upcoming series against Zimbabwe.

Earlier this week, Gill was named the Indian captain to lead a fresh squad that predominantly features young IPL 2024 stars.
The dedication of the 24-year-old player can be seen in recent sightings. While in the USA, Gill was spotted undergoing a rigorous running session, showcasing his commitment to peak fitness for the upcoming series. Interestingly, the location of his training appears to be an American stadium, hinting at his focus on utilizing available resources to stay sharp. While currently in the USA, glimpses of Gill taking part in a Copa America match between Brazil and Costa Rica also emerged.

The leadership potential of Gill has been recognized for some time now, despite his maiden stint as Gujarat Titans captain not going in an ideal way. Leading India in the Zimbabwe series would be a valuable opportunity for him to gain experience and showcase his captaincy skills on the international stage.
