Former Indian player Irfan Pathan tells Pakistan to stop crying over the crowd’s behavior in India says, “I was hit by a nail under my eye in Peshawar.”

Former player of Indian cricket team Irfan Pathan opened up about his traumatic experience from a Pakistan tour during his playing years.
After the match between India and Pakistan cricket teams, a controversy erupted where some of the fans targeted Mohammad Rizwan with ‘Jai Shree Ram’ chants, following which the PCB filed an official complaint to the ICC regarding the hostile crowd behaviour towards the Pakistani side.
The director of Pakistan cricket team, Micky Arthur, also criticized the ICC and remarked that the match looked like a ‘BCCI’ event. Meanwhile, Pathan criticized Arthur and PCB for stretching the matter and urged them to focus on cricket.
Pathan shared a story from his Pakistan tour, where he got hit by a nail under his eye by a hostile fan when India were playing against Pakistan in Peshawar. Pathan added that the match was stopped for 10 minutes, but the team decided not to focus on the unfortunate incident because India were playing good cricket.
Pathan said, “Peshawar me ham khelne gaye the, tab ek Pakistani fan ne meri aankh k niche keel mardi thi. Lekin hamne iss baat ka batangad ni banaya. Pakistan should stop making issues of the crowd’s behavior in India. They shouldn’t stretch things over here.”
