Fresh from the USA, the Pakistan cricket team skipped training on arrival in New York
The members of the Pakistan cricket team arrived in New York on Friday, a day after they faced an embarrassing defeat at the hands of the USA. Now the men in green are going to face their arch rivals, India, in the much-awaited India versus Pakistan match at the Nassau County Cricket Stadium on June 9.
According to a news report, the players of Team Pakistan have decided not to train on Friday. Watch the video here.
The USA created history and a huge upset in the T20 World Cup as they defeated Pakistan in the super over by five runs. The USA almost chased down the target of 159 runs set by Pakistan in 20 overs. But some great death bowling forced the match into a super over. However, Mohd Amir faltered with three wides, and the USA scored 18 runs, while Pakistan could only score 13 runs at the loss of one wicket.
