Ravindra Jadeja slammed an unbeaten 110 to help India reach 326/5 at stumps on Day 1 of the ongoing third Test in Rajkot. Jadeja was accompanied by night-watchman Kuldeep Yadav, who was also unbeaten on 1. Kuldeep came out to bat after Sarfaraz Khan, on debut, was run out after a mix-up with Jadeja. Sarfaraz made 62 and completed his 50 in just 48 balls. India captain Rohit Sharma, however, led the charge with a brilliant 131. Earlier, Mark Wood with his twin strikes and Tom Hartley with one scalp dented India’s start before a solid 204-run partnership between Rohit and Jadeja brought the hosts back in the game.
