Dev Khanal slammed a gritty 58 runs as the Nepal cricket team registered a one-wicket victory over Afghanistan. Thanks to the victory, Team Nepal entered the Super 6 stage of the competition. Earlier, Aakash Chand registered a five-wicket haul as the Nepal cricket team bundled out Afghanistan for 145 in the Group D match of the ongoing Under-19 World Cup. Opting to bat first, Team Afghanistan kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Apart from Aakash, DipeshKandel took two wickets for the Nepal cricket team.
On the other hand, Allah Ghazanfar was the top scorer for the Afghanistan cricket team, scoring 37 runs. The captain of team Afghanistan, Naseer Khan Maroofkhil, also scored 31 for the team.
