In a low Scoring Thriller Match Bangladesh beat Nepal by 21 runs

The deadly spell by Tanzil Hasan Sakib guided his team to a victory of 21 runs over Nepal in the T20 world Cup 2024, Group D match on Monday. Whipe chasing a low target of 107 runs, Nepal cricket team could not even put up a good fight as they kept on losing wickets regularly. Sakib registered a brilliant haul of four-wicket as Nepal got wrapped up for only 85 runs. Apart from him, Mustafizur Rahman scalped three wickets while Shakib Al Hasan took two wickets each.

With this victory, after South Africa Bangladesh cricket team became the second team from Group D, to enter the Super 8s of the T20 World Cup 2024. The qualification of Bangladesh means that Netherlands have been eliminated from the race.
