India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya has reclaimed the top spot in the ICC T20I all-rounder rankings for the second time in his career. Pandya climbed two places following a stellar performance in the T20I series against South Africa. His 39-run knock in the second game, coupled with a brilliant 1/8 spell In the third match, helped him surpass England’s Liam Livingstone and Nepal’s DipendraAiree. This marks another milestone in Pandya’s illustrious career, as he returns to the top of the all-rounders’ chart.
Meanwhile, Tilak Varma has made a sensational leap in the T20I batting rankings, jumping 69 places to secure the 3rd position. Named Player of the Series in the IND vs SA T20I series, Varma amassed 280 runs, including two centuries, cementing his place as a rising star. He now trails only Australia’s Travis Head and England’s Phil Salt in the rankings. However, Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav has dropped to 4th position.
In bowling, England’s Adil Rashid and Sri Lanka’s WaninduHasaranga remain at the top. Adam Zampa rose five places to 3rd, while India’s Arshdeep Singh broke into the top 10, ranking 9th. Former top-ranked spinner Ravi Bishnoi slipped to 8th, following the Proteas series.
