It was one-way traffic after Royal Challengers Bengaluru posted 206/7 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. The visitors managed to contain the dangerous batters of the Pat Cummins-led team, registering a win by 35 runs. Travis Head (1), Abhishek Sharma (3), and Heinrich Klaasen (7) couldn’t get going at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. The Orange Army was restricted to 171/8 in 20 overs.
It was Bengaluru’s second win of the season. The second victory came after six consecutive defeats. Karan Sharma and Swapnil Singh took two wickets each.
