In IPL 2024, SunRisers Hyderabad beat Lucknow Super Giants by 10 wickets
The unbeaten knock of 89 runs by Travis Head and the unbeaten knock of 75 runs by Abhishek Sharma chased down the target of 166 runs inside 9.4 overs to brush aside the Lucknow Super Giants by 10 wickets and give themselves a massive net run rate boost at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
Ayush Badoni starred with a feisty half century as he, with the help of Nicholas Pooran, guided LSG to 165/4 against SRH. Bhuvneshwar Kumar rattled the Lucknow Super Giants early when he sent back both Quinton de Kock and Marcus Stoinis cheaply. The captain of Lucknow SuperGiants KL Rahul would follow with 29 when he was snapped up by Pat Cummins. The Australian would strike again soon when he ran out a well-set Krunal Pandya as well.
On Wednesday KL Rahul won the toss and opted to bat first against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Both teams made two change each, with Sanvir Singh coming in for Mayank Agarwal and Vijayakanth Viyaskanth making his debut in place of Marco Jansen for SRH. Meanwhile, Quinton de Kock came back in, while Mohsin Khan missed out on Lucknow.
