In PSL 9, 13 players of the Karachi Kings suffer from food poisoning
In PSL 9, 13 players of Karachi Kings in the squad are currently suffering from food poisoning, which dealt a big blow to the team. One of the players was also moved to a local hospital after his condition worsened, sources revealed.
A source close to the team added, “The players didn’t get ill after ordering food from outside the hotel since that was not allowed.”
However, the team management of the Karachi Kings is hopeful that they will be able to field a team for today’s match against the Quetta Gladiators at the National Bank Stadium. Because of this same reason, even Daniel Sams and James Vince didn't feature in Karachi's last match.
Last night, Islamabad United bagged their second PSL 9 victory after winning against the Karachi Kings by seven wickets at the National Bank Stadium.
On the back of a quick half-century by player of the match Colin Munro, Islamabad successfully chased down the target of 166 runs to edge over the home team in the first game of the Karachi leg of PSL 9.
