In the 2nd unofficial Test, Sarfaraz slams Ton, and Kumar spins Web as India A humble England Lions

Sarfaraz Khan‘s blazing century with bat and Saurabh Kumar’s 5-wicket haul with ball powered India A to victory over the England Lions by an innings and 16 runs in the final of the second unofficial Test in Ahmedabad.
India needed just two wickets on Day 4 to claim a comfortable win over the England Lions. Arshdeep Singh and YashDayal claimed wickets each to wrap up the game.
Winning the toss and opting to bat first, the England Lions were bundled out for 152 in their first inning. Akash Deep was the wrecker in chief with the ball, picking a 4-wicket haul.
India A, in response, dominated with the bat. The opening partnership of Abhimanyu Easwaran (58) and DevduttPadikkal (105) set the tone with a 162-run stand. Subsequently, a colossal partnership between Sarfaraz Khan (161) and Washington Sundar (57) further solidified India's position. Saurabh Kumar’s contribution of 77 runs at No. 8 boosted the team’s total to 493, securing a substantial lead of 341 runs.
The visitors struggled in the second inning as well, but a resilient partnership between Ollie Robinson and Brydon Carse (102 runs) momentarily held the collapse. However, Saurabh Kumar’s five-wicket haul wrapped up England, who were bowled out for 321, giving India A a comprehensive victory by an innings and 16 runs.
