In the final match of the women Asia Cup series, the Sri Lanka cricket team defeated Thailand by 10 wickets. Thailand won the toss and decided to bat first, but this decision was wrong as they could score only 93 runs in 20 overs at the loss of 7 wickets. They said that target of 94 runs for Sri Lanka, and Sri Lanka easily met this target.
Only captain Chamari Attapattu and Vishnu Gunaratne reached the swimming score. Chamari was in amazing form, as she scored a century in the previous match. In this match also, her innings were quite aggressive, and she missed her half century only by one run. Chamari scored 49 runs in 35 balls, which consist of 4 sixes and 2 boundaries, whereas Vishnu scored 39 runs in 34 balls, consisting of 4 boundaries and one six.
Now the Indian women cricket team is going to face Bangladesh, while Sri Lanka is going to face Pakistan in their semi-final matches, which are going to be played on July 26.
