Team India player Jasprit Bumrah became the fastest Indian pacer to reach 150 wickets on Saturday as he dismissed Ben Stokes in the second India vs. England Test at Visakhapatnam. Bumrah achieved the feat in just 34 tests. Overall, he is the joint third-fastest Indian bowler to get to 150 Test wickets alongside spinners ErapalliPrasanna and Anil Kumble, who also completed 150 Test wickets in 34 matches. The Indian record for fastest to 150 Test wickets belongs to Ravichandran Ashwin, who took 29 matches to get to the landmark, while Ravindra Jadeja accomplished the same in 32 Tests.
He also became the fastest Indian pacer to achieve the record. On the other hand, he is third on the list for being the fastest Indian bowler to take 150 Test wickets, behind Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin. In the second test match, he also completed the feat of taking five wickets for the tenth time.
