In the ODI ICC rankings, Mohammad Nabi became the number one ranked all-rounder

On February 14, the ICC updated their weekly ranking charts, and then-former captain of Afghanistan Mohammad Nabi entered the history books as he achieved the top spot in the ODI all-rounder’s category at the age of 39.
Nabi had an impressive outing against Sri Lanka in the ongoing ODI series, displacing Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan from the top spot.
In the 2nd ODI against Sri Lanka, chasing a target of 382, Afghanistan lost five early wickets, but Nabi and Azmatullah Omarzai stitched a 242 run stand, where Nabi scored 136 (130), which featured 15 fours and three sixes. Meanwhile, Omarzai scored a brilliant 149 (115), which featured 13 fours and six sixes.
In the end, Afghanistan fell short of 42 runs. Nonetheless, Nabi benefitted from the innings and is now the No. 1 ranked ODI all-rounder with 314 points. However, the all-rounder dropped a spot in the T20 all-rounder ranking and is now placed fourth on the list.
Talking about other players, Indian cricketers did not see a jump or slump in the rankings as they have yet to play a game since the 2nd Test win against England.
Shubman Gill is the top-ranked ODI batter for India and is placed second on the list behind Babar Azam.
