In the Ranji Trophy, Cheteshwar Pujara is unstoppable as he hammers a 102-ball ton at Rajkot

The batsman of Indian cricket team Cheteshwar Pujara has once again smashed a ton in the ongoing Ranji Trophy, his fourth of the season, this time against Minnow Manipur. Playing close to where Team India is playing their third Test in Rajkot, Pujara brought up his 63rd first-class century at the Sanosara Cricket Ground in Rajkot as well.
What was even more noteworthy was the fact that Pujara brought up his ton in only 102 balls, hitting 12 fours and a six in the process. This is a huge effort from the veteran, who is often criticized for his slow strike rate.
With scores of 243*(356), 49(100), 43(77), 43(105), 66(137), 91(133), 3(16), 0(6), 110(230), 25(60), and 108(105) in the Ranji Trophy this year, Pujara has made it abundantly clear that he deserves a spot in the Indian side. Until the previous match, he had scored 673 runs in seven matches, at an average of 77.
