Former captain of India cricket team MS Dhoni has been asked by the BCCI Ethics Committee to file a response against a complaint. The complaint has been lodged by UP resident Rajesh Kumar Maurya. The case is added to the ongoing case between the former captain and his alleged ex-business partner, Mihir Diwakar.

According to the reports, the board committee has sought an official response from MS Dhoni by August 30. The complainant had filed a complaint against Mihir Diwakar and has framed fraud charges against Diwakar, Soumya Das, and Aarka Sports, who had been associated with Dhoni.

Earlier in March 2024, the court had summoned Mihir Diwakar, Soumya Das, and Aarka Sports Management Pvt. Ltd. in relation to the case. Dhoni’s lawyer went on to claim that multiple academies were opened under the name of the former skipper without his knowledge.
