In the Super Eight match, Afghanistan beat Australia by 21 runs

The Afghanistan cricket team beat heavyweight Australia by 21 runs in their Super Eight match of the T20 World Cup here on Sunday.
The half centuries from Rahmanullah Gurbaz (60) and Ibrahim Zadram (51) guided Afghanistan to an atotal of 148 runs at the loss of six wickets.
All-rounder GulabdinNaib then produced his career-best figures of 4/20 to bowl out Australia for 127 in 19.2 overs.
With the win, Afghanistan kept themselves in contention for a semifinal spot. The India-Australia game on Monday could now become a knockout fixture. Earlier, Afghanistan had defeated New Zealand in the group stage.
