Australia set a target of 352 runs for the loss of seven wickets against India in the third and final ODI here on Wednesday. India already has an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. David Warner scored 56 off 34 balls, Mitchell Marsh scored 96 off 84 balls, Steven Smith scored 74 off 61 balls, and Marnus Labuschagne scored 72 off 58 balls in what turned out to be their best batting show of the series.
Jasprit Bumrah had taken 3 wickets while giving up 81 runs, while spinner Washington Sundar was the team's best bowler with figures of 0/48 in 10 overs. But India eventually lost the third match to Australia by 66 runs.
The captain of team India, Rohit Sharma, had earlier said that only 13 players were available for selection for the Rajkot match.
