India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja dedicates the POTM award to his wife for ‘working hard’ on his confidence and mental strength
After his heroics at Rajkot, Ravindra Jadeja dedicates his Player of the Match (POTM) award to his wife Rivaba. The all-rounder’s sensational performance with both bat and ball played a crucial role in the IND vs. ENG 3rd Test. India won the Test by a record-breaking 434 runs, with Jadeja grabbing a fifer in the 2nd inning.
Jadeja credits his wife, Rivaba, for working hard behind him mentally. He adds that she helps him both mentally and physically. He dedicates this ‘special’ man of the match moment in his hometown to his wife.
Jadeja broke the back of the England batting line-up in the second innings with a fifer that saw the visitors being bundled out for 122 in the 2nd innings of the IND vs. ENG 3rd Test. India declared their 2nd inning at 430/4, providing a huge target of 556 for England to chase in the 2nd inning. The task was tall, and Jadeja made it tougher by producing a magical spell to which England had no answers.
