India and Tamil Nadu fast bowler T Natarajan inaugurated the new Super Kings Academy centre at Sunbeam School in Vellore. The academy, an initiative by the Chennai Super Kings franchise, aims to nurture young cricketing talent in the region.
The Super Kings Academy in Vellore is equipped with eight pitches, including three turf pitches, three AstroTurf, and two matting pitches. Additionally, the facility has floodlights and a full-fledged cricket ground with a turf pitch, offering comprehensive training infrastructure.
During the launch event, several dignitaries, including Louis Mariano, the Director of Cricket at Super Kings Academy, Dr.Harigopalan T, the Chairman of Sunbeam School, Dr. George Arvind, Vice Chairman of Sunbeam School, Dr.Thangaprakash, Correspondent of Sunbeam School, and S Sridharan, Secretary of the Vellore District Cricket Association, were in attendance as guests of honour.
This initiative aims to provide aspiring cricketers in and around Vellore with high-quality training facilities, fostering the development of future cricket stars under the Super Kings' banner.
