India suffers setback with HS Prannoy missing the men's team badminton final
Women's 57kg boxer Parveen Hooda is guaranteed at least a bronze medal after making it to the semifinals. First female golfer from India to take home an Asian Games medal is Aditi. Also competing in the men's shot put final are Tajinderpal Singh Toor and Sahib Singh. Top medal candidates for India will include athletes Jyothi Yarraji, Avinash Sable, and boxer Nikhat Zareen. Nikhat, who is already guaranteed a bronze medal, will attempt to improve the colour of her medal on Sunday while Jyothi and Avinash will aim to place first in their respective divisions.
