India will participate in the Hong Kong International Cricket Sixes

After a seven-year hiatus India will participate in the Hong Kong International Cricket Sixes from November 1 to 3, 2024, marking a significant return of the iconic tournament. This six-a-side event will take place at the tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground, featuring 12 teams competing in a fast-paced format designed to entertain fans.

The tournament has a rich history, having previously hosted cricket legends like Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara. Cricket Hong Kong aims to revitalize the event, which has been sidelined due to the COVID-19 pandemic and scheduling conflicts. The event is expected to draw considerable attention, showcasing the vibrant cricketing culture of Hong Kong.

India’s participation is highly anticipated as fans look forward to seeing their favorite players in action in this unique format. The chairman of Cricket Hong Kong expressed excitement about hosting this prestigious event, emphasizing its role in promoting cricket within the region.
