Earlier, opener Phoebe Litchfield struck 119 runs off 125 balls, while captain Alyssa Healy made an 85-ball 82 as Australia posted an imposing target of 333 runs at the loss of seven wickets against India. This was the highest total for Australia against India, bettering the previous best of 332 runs at a loss of 7 wickets in 2018. Off-spinner Shreyanka Patil was the most successful bowler for the India women cricket team, finishing with figures of 3/57.
