Intikhab Alam says, "India's spin attack stands out in the ODI World Cup 2023"
As the 13th edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup is near, former Pakistan captain Intikhab Alam says that the spinners of the Indian Cricket Team will be key in the competition. The host will begin their campaign against Australia on October 8 in Chennai.
Alam praised the performance of the Indian Cricket Team in their title-winning campaign in the Asia Cup. He said that veteran Kuldeep Yadav could be the key weapon for the two-time champions in the mega event. The 28-year-old spinner has impressed with the ball, picking up 33 wickets in 17 ODIs till now this year at an average of 16.03.
Alam said, "The way the Indian cricket team played in the Asia Cup and played the final match against Sri Lanka, they looked like the team to beat their spin attack stands out. Kuldeep is going to play a major role in the tournament; he will test the batsman of all the teams."
