Irfan Pathan says, "The India vs. Sri Lanka final in the Asia Cup 2023 won't be a one-sided affair

Former all-rounder of the Indian cricket team, Irfan Pathan, has said that the Asia Cup 2023 finals between India and the Sri Lanka cricket team are not going to be a one-sided match. The Indian cricket team is going to face Sri Lanka at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday, September 17.
Pathan took to social media platform ‘X’ to say that playing the Asia Cup final against Sri Lanka would be better for India since it wouldn’t be a one-sided affair.
Pathan posted on 'X': "Playing the finals against Sri Lanka will be better for team India as it won’t be a one-sided affair."
Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan in what was a virtual semi-final clash in Colombo and secured their place in the final of the Asia Cup 2023. India will now be aiming for a record-extending eighth Asia Cup title. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka will be eyeing their seventh Asia Cup title. This will be the eighth time that India and Sri Lanka face each other in the final of the Asia Cup.
